i am in Cabinda first time ever visiting this place and I’m already having a bit of a wander around. It’s absolutely stunning proper natural with loads of rainforest, jungle, ocean right there, and the people are really friendly. There’s wildlife everywhere too monkeys just chilling about like they own the place!
The roads are decent, and the city itself is massive. Thing is, Cabinda’s actually a province and city capital , but it’s a bit of an odd one it’s an exclave of Angola, so even though it belongs to Angola, it’s not actually connected to it by land.
Cabinda sits to the southwest of Congo and just north of Angola, but get this there are no roads or bridges linking it to the rest of Angola. So if you wanna get here from Angola, you’ve either got to fly in or take a boat.
Anyway, after visiting here, I had to head back to Angola, to Luanda, just to then loop back around into Congo even though Cabinda’s already right there next to Congo. Mad, innit?
