How Floyd Mayweather Sets Up the Body Stab | Two Reads/ Options

Today we're stealing from Floyd - but really stealing from whoever is good and we can apply.
We're doing one move and we're doing two reads off of it. The move is going to be a stab to the body and how we set it up.
The emphasis today is footwork. Even though the stab to the body is the move we're working on, we're weaponizing with our feet.
THE SETUP:
Right, left, right. As soon as I go to lift up that left foot, that's when you stab to the body.
THE READ:
Do I drop my hands and go to my back foot? Or do I drop my hands and stay on the front foot?
Because after I get stabbed to the body for a while, I do need to be doing something because this is a scoring shot for my opponent.
What we're really doing here: We're seeing that as soon as something is done, what do they do after off of their reset?
READ #1 - BACK FOOT RESET:
If I drop my hands and I go to the back foot, that's when you can follow up with the right hand.
READ #2 - FRONT FOOT RESET:
If I drop my hands and stay on the front foot, you can come up with the left hook.
THE LEARNING PROGRESSION:
First: Learn the intricacies and details of the stab to the body itself
Then: Learn the intricacies and details of the next shot (the right hand)
Then: Learn the intricacies and details of the other next shot (the left hook)
Now: Work on the application - as we circle, circle, circle, stab
The read is there. You're not throwing it yet because you're actually fighting. You need to ask the questions and then get the answers.
THE COMPLETE CHOREOGRAPHY:
If you notice, the whole entire choreography has to happen:
The Setup (how you got in to stab to the body)
The Next Shot (as you're in, which is the right hand)(handplacement so you dont get caught in between)
The Exit (getting out safely)
All of that has to go together.
IMPORTANT: This is not like some special move that you get to learn and you get to just do it right away. The application, the timing of it is just as important, if not more important than the skill that you're learning yourself.
Once you acquire a skill, it's not about just "hey, I can just do it right in the fight." Now, you have to practice actually doing it in the fight.
WHO DOES THIS MOVE:
I said we stole it from Floyd Mayweather. Other people do it as well - Andre Ward, and others. But it is a setup for the next shot.
Get your film in. Watch how the pros use this. See when they throw it, how they set it up, what they do after.

This is free. In order to get the next part of it, you have to do work and that's going to take time.
Film. Study. Work out on your own. Or maybe pay for the whole system I have.
But don't be asking me to do different angles and stuff like that. This drill is not going to be perfect. That's the reason why you prep it anyways.
