Welcome to week 5 of training for the Newport Marathon.
We headed to South Wales this week, 11 weeks before race day, but to Cardiff, instead of Newport.
The aim was to race a half-marathon and break my previous PB of 1:24:03.
I wasn’t alone, though. I did the race with some of my wonderful family members in aid of Blood Cancer UK.
