Hello, ALL!  
MY name is Joni ‘BoneZ’ Tarrance.  I am a drummer from Central VA, USA.  I have been playing the drums since age ten.  My mother is a drummer, as well, which is who I credit to giving me the love and passion for drums..
Growing up, there was always a drumset in the living room, my father was a guitarist and a singer, and played Harmonica. They always had friends come over and jam, so that was my nighttime lullaby, lol.
It wasn’t till I was 10 that I first stepped up, at church ( where my mom played drums as well) she was at the altar or something, and I felt compelled to step up to the platform and hop on them, (which took everyone by surprise, even me, honestly! It was as if something else to over my body).  From that point on I played, watched and learned.  I had taken band for one year in middle school, but I am mostly self taught.  I can learn songs by listening to them, And by  watching others,  I guess you can say it is in my blood!   You GOTTA have the FEEL!  I have played in a few bands, as I became an adult, including my favorite Alice Creeper  The Alice Cooper Tribute Band, my husband was Alice, we put on the full-on Alice Cooper experience, guillotine, electric chair, gallows, actors, the full production, the whole NINE!
It was a fun experience!  In fact,  we’ve Met the real Alice Cooper a few times, the last time we saw one another, he told me that he wished he knew I was there, that he would have gotten me up to play, and that next time I was going to be around to let him know and he’d  get me up to play with him, so I am currently trying to reach him, as he is  going to be near me in April and August.   So fingers crossed on that!
What can I say? Music is my sanity!!  I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t play.
I also play guitar, but drums are my first love and PASSION!
I LOVE that this contest continues, I love seeing all the other  amazing female drummers from around the world, so empowering!
Its so great to see all the hard work that goes into it.  The sponsors, who make it possible, the amazing panel of judges, and the many others who work begins the scenes to make it all possible!  !THANK YOU!
This is a pretty raw jam, captured on video, and I am getting this in last minute, so bear with me..
