This is an easy yet elegant soap that you can make at home after watching this video. Why buy from the store when you can make soap at home that is better in quality and at an affordable in price?
This basic recipe can make many different types of soaps, all of very high quality. You can use this base recipe with any combination of essential oils. My favorite soap bar is this basic recipe below with 3/4 cup of oats and 4 tablespoons of honey mixed in right before pouring into the mold. The smell and texture is subtle yet refined. Ingredients:
3 pounds of distilled water
475 grams of sodium hydroxide (lye)
4 pounds of olive oil
2 pounds 8 ounces coconut oil
1 pound 8 ounces palm oil
30 grams of grapefruit seed oil
optional:
3/4 cup of oats (rolled or quick)
2-4 tablespoons of honey
10-15 teaspoons of your favorite essential oils
