Planet Namek = is the home planet of the legendary wish granting dragonballs!! it is also the residence of the peaceful good karma namek race. this unique green planet is also where the super saiyajin of legend would be awakened once again!! the planet was also slowly dying, fated to explode due to freezas desperation to rid himself of the ssj he feared all his life. and so after their fierce epic battle the original planet namek was sadly blown to pieces and utterly destroyed... =(

during this time the nameks lived on earth for awhile. they stayed at bulmas home/capsule corp. after wishing back the remaining z warriors who died fighting the saiyans, also the lives lost during the raids of the tryant freeza. the nameks decide its time to depart and after some emotional goodbyes... using the power of their dragonballs make a wish to porunga of their own.

yearning for their homeworld they were relocated to New planet Namek. where they continue to live on in peace and watch over the dragonballs... the planet is also home to a host of ambient life, such as fish, frogs, slugs and dinos!! namek has three suns, so it is never night time. despite this depictions of the planet show there to be a dark side. the year is much shorter than an earth year, at 130 days long.

planet namek once was a beautiful meadow covered by ajisa.
during the age 261, a horrible climate shift slaughtered most
of the namekjins...leaving a few survivors. among these
being the grand elder Guru.
