English Translation:
She journeys on the Traws Cambria bus
on a rainy, grey morn
she has an ache in her head
and a pain in her stomach
after starting without a bite to eat
and the road gleams black and wet
the wheels turn underneath -
farewell to the job in the shoe shop, boys
the grass is always greener on the other side.

Dreaming of tomorrow and forgetting about yesterday.

There lies Sunland, Funland, 'Sunny Rhyl',
Llandudno without her summer visitors,
tender Maldwyn stretches out in front
misty and pale, like a patient.

she has no grand hopes,

on a bus travelling through the rain.
