Geiriau:
I stesion Bangor drwy y glaw,
mi wn y daw, mi wn y daw.
O'r dwyrain tywyll daw fel y wawr
am fod ein hangen ni mor fawr.
Bydd yr hen wlad hon yn cysgu,
bydd distawrwydd dros y tir
pan ddaw'r tren rhwng mor a bryniau
drwy y nos a'r oriau hir.
Heibio Treffynnon a Maes Glas,
heibio'r kebab bars a'r iardiau scrap.
O toes dim gorsaf rhy ddi-nod
i fod yn dyst i'r hwn sy'n dod.
Prestatyn, Rhyl a Phenmaenmawr,
daw eu hawr, eu toriad gwawr.
A phan ddaw'r bora dros y waun
bydd dim byd fel roedd o'r blaen.
Bydd pob un brawd a phob un chwaer
yn derbyn bendith y tren o Gaer.
A'r plant amddifad, y gwan a'r claf
yn teimlo gwres eu hirddydd haf.
O gwynder c'lomen, addfwynder oen,
daw i leddfu pob cur a phoen.
A bydd pawb sy'n wrthodedig
yn teimlo gwres ei wen garedig.
I stesion Bangor drwy y glaw,
mi wn y daw, mi wn y daw.
English Translation Lyrics:
To Bangor station through the rain,
I know he'll come, I know he'll come.
From the dark east he'll come like the dawn
because our need is so great.
This old country will be sleeping,
there will be silence through the land
when the train comes amongst sea and hills
through the night and the long hours.
Past Treffynnon and Maes Glas,
past the kebab bars and scrap yards.
Oh there's no station that's too insignificant
to be witness to what is coming.
Prestatyn, Rhyl and Penmaenmawr,
their hour will come, their breaking dawn.
And when the morning comes over the moor
nothing will be like it was before.
Every brother and every sister
will recieve the blessing of the train from Chester.
And the orphan children, the weak and ill
will feel the warmth of their long summer day.
Oh the whiteness of a dove, the meekness of a lamb,
he will come to soothe every ache and pain.
And all those who are outcasts
will feel the warmth of his kind smile.
To Bangor station through the rain,
I know he'll come, I know he'll come.
