Few other ramen brands have similar cult followings like Nakamoto, which is probably only rivaled by Ramen Jiro. Nakamoto fills the niche of spicy ramen all over Kanto, having a ramen store at almost every central location of Tokyo.

All the ramen at Nakamoto are graded on a 0 to 10 spiciness level scale, with 0 having no spiciness at all and 10 being hellfire in a bowl. 5 is a good entry level to gauge your senses and get a good taste experience.
Their ramen are tanmen style, which means they come topped with some wok fried veggies and thin slices of meat. The soup is made from chicken and pork, blended with a light miso tare. Depending on the shop you go to and the day, there are lots of varieties offered, but you will always be able to get their standard bowls.
