About Jeff Slate & Friends
Renowned for their electrifying performances, Jeff Slate and Friends brought their talent all the way from New York City. Jeff Slate is known as a world-class frontman and songwriter on the New York City music scene, where his band’s monthly residency in the heart of Chelsea draws sellout crowds and famous guests. Slate was a solo artist and made his name after working with The Who’s Pete Townshend, touring with Sheryl Crow and founding the mod-influenced band The Badge. Slate has toured throughout the US over the past 13 years, sharing the stage with Roger McGuinn, Jeff Tweedy, Willie Nile, Margo Price and Sheryl Crow, and most recently touring as support for Jakob Dylan’s Wallflowers in 2024, with whom he will head out on the road again in fall 2025!

During this show they celebrated the 60th anniversary of Bob Dylan's electrifying performance at the 1965 Newport Folks Festival by performing Maggie's Farm and Like a Rolling Stone.

Rocky Wall Entertainment is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to present affordable, educational and entertaining musical events to adults and children on Lake Superior's North Shore, featuring the best of Americana music, and to aid in the design, construction and operation of an outdoor performance stage and entertainment event center in Silver Bay, MN. Rocky Wall Entertainment produced eight free live Friday night outdoor concerts in 2025 from July 18th through September 5th.
