These are the top three reasons why it has taken so long to rebuild my Land Rover Discovery 3.9 V8 engine.
I thought cleaning my engine in a dishwasher would be a fun myth busters like way to degrease the block. I feel like lots of people comment to say they have washed parts in the dishwasher when the wife is out. Either way I have not had any luck in doing so, eventually giving up and putting it through an ultrasonic cleaner at the machine shop.
Having the rebuild different parts of the garage has been a real motivation drain also.
In the meantime I have been getting on with the bottom end rebuilding so progress is happening!!
