Welcome to Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii 2020 Bon Dance!! Let us together enjoy the evening. Due to COVID-19, we are not allowed to hold Bon Dance as usual. However, we’ve teamed up to observe Bon Dance online. Guided and inspired by Bishop Eric Matsumoto, we present Online Hongwanji Bon Dance Experience 2020!
There will be five Bon dances presented during the event. If it is safe for you to do so, we encourage you to dance along from home during the event! We have posted an instructional video for each of the dances in 2020 Bon Dance playlist on the HHMH YouTube channel. Please see • 2020 Bon Dance . You can use those videos to practice beforehand or just follow along during our Bon Dance 2020 YouTube premiere.
