Today, I'm officially following a full AI-built training plan from ChatGPT to chase a sub-2 hour half marathon on Feb 15. Exactly one month ago I started this journey with zero speed, zero structure, and no idea how far I could go.
This entire week was built, reviewed, and adjusted using ChatGPT’s plan:
Here’s what PACE programmed for me this week:
• Sun: 8-mile long run @ 13:50–14:20 + strides
• Mon: 3 miles easy after leg day
• Tue: 1 mile
• Wed: 6×400m intervals @ 10:30–11:00 pace
• Thu: Easy 2 miles + cadence work
• Fri: Rest
• Sat: Tempo run — 1 mi warm-up, 1.5 mi steady @ 11:45–12:15, 1 mi cool-down
In this video, I break down how each run went, how the pacing felt, where I struggled, and how ChatGPT actually helped me understand my performance in real time.
It’s not perfect — but it’s progress.
