Keith Coursin, President of Desert Aire, joins Eric to explain evaporation, condensation and dew point. As it pertains to indoor pool dehumidification, these concepts are important, and a properly-sized dehumidifier should control them all.
A pool dehumidifier can control the dew point by controlling how much moisture is removed (and at what rate), which is accomplished with condensation (on condenser coils in the dehumidifier). Evaporation rates have to do with temperature differentials between water and air, as well as vapor pressure, water surface area and air speed on the water surface.
All of these elements are critical to the indoor pool ecosystem for air quality.
