Описание: Welcome to Day 19 of my 2,500-mile solo motorcycle camping tour of Scotland (and beyond)!

After waking up at my wild camp on Raiders Road and being immediately ambushed by swarms of midges, I make a swift and soggy exit. The legendary gravel track soon gives me a send-off to remember though, with a Red Kite swooping dramatically right across my path.

From there, I ride south, cross the border into England, and head into the breathtaking Lake District. A stop at Dodd Wood lets me stretch my legs before I settle at my campsite in Seatoller, tucked deep in the valleys.

With Scafell Pike looming on my horizon, I scout the first stretch of the trail: waterfalls, submerged paths, rocky climbs, and a reminder of the challenges (and delirium) that can come with solo adventure travel.
