Not the Ride I Had Planned in the Lake District | 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿/🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Scotland (and beyond) - Day 20

Описание: Welcome to Day 20 of my 2,500-mile solo motorcycle camping tour of Scotland (and beyond)!

I start the day riding through the breathtaking Honister Pass and Buttermere in the Lake District, totally absorbed by the scenery. But then, disaster: a screw embedded deep in my rear tyre causes an air leak.

Frustrated but determined, I scour the area for a garage, only to be met with dead ends. Until, by chance, I find one able to plug the tyre (and replace my brake pads) and save me from a full breakdown. With the bike patched up enough to limp back to camp, I turn to my back-up plan: hiking part of the legendary Wainwright Coast to Coast trail.

The sun finally breaks through, and I trade stress for serenity as I wander through valleys, waterfalls, and iconic Lake District scenery.
