US GDP growth slows to just 2% amid Delta surge

The annualized growth rate of the US gross domestic product (GDP) only grew at a 2% rate in the third quarter, according to the expectation from the Commerce Department on Thursday.
It is the lowest since the plunge of 31.2% in the second quarter of 2020. Economists surveyed by Dows were looking for a little higher rate of 2.8%.
