Matthew 22:37-38 (WEB) Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 
 
John 14:21 (WEB) One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.

DEVOTION
Jesus said, the greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind. This is not partial love, not seasonal devotion, not distracted affection, but wholehearted surrender.
When God’s Word is our most prized possession and we read, hear, and speak His Word it is planted in our hearts and minds and like a seed it grows and strengthens our desire and ability to live in a way that pleases our Father.
To love God fully is to center our thoughts on His truth, anchor our hearts in His promises, and align our lives with His will.

AFFIRMATIONS
I love the LORD my GOD with all my heart

GOD’S Word is in my heart & mind
I am loved by my FATHER
JESUS loves me and has revealed HIMSELF to me

PRAY – FOR YOURSELF
Father God, I choose to love You with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind. Remove anything that competes for my affection. I thank You that Your Word is alive and powerful in me — shaping my thoughts, guiding my decisions, and guarding my heart. In Jesus mighty Name, Amen.

PRAY – FOR OTHERS
Father God, draw Your children’s to love You with all their hearts, souls, and minds. Remove every distraction, every burden, and every deception that tries to pull them away from wholehearted devotion to You. In Jesus Name, Amen.
