The first in a series of videos in which I will repair a Bulova President dress watch that was made in 1960. It has Bulova's AF11 manual-wind Swiss movement.
In this video, I will completely disassemble the watch and movement. Because all watch movements are cleaned using the same process, I will not make a video of my work cleaning this movement. You can see the process of cleaning a movement on my Watch Cleaning Video: • Watch Movement Cleaning
This was a learning experience. It turned out that I was wrong in my assumption of how to open the case and extract the movement, as you'll see in the video. Hopefully, this will help others working on one of these uniquely designed watches for the first time.
