Hey children of God, i hope you are doing well by his grace.
When the prodigal son returned in repentance, his father saw him from afar and ran to embrace him with love and compassion. This is how God welcomes us when we come back to Him — with mercy, forgiveness, and open arms. Even when we leave His presence, He waits patiently for us to return.
The father celebrates because the son was lost and now is found — dead in separation but alive again in God’s presence. The older son was angry, but the father reminded him that his faithfulness is still recognized. Yet the celebration was for the one who returned to life.
God is the God who leaves the 99 for the 1. He rejoices when even one soul comes back from darkness. He values restoration, and His love is greater than our mistakes.
