Описание: After another late night but with the best company - we dragged ourselves out of bed 😴😴😴 today was show day at AK - we love the Festival of the Lion King and the Nemo show. Lily was on ride wait watch as usual - even though it was show day we made a splash on Kali River Rapids - after getting soaked on Tiana’s we put on put our ponchos this time, Lily noticed the Safari was posting 20 minutes and as the weather was cooler and overcast we decided to have a second visit but not before dancing with the Harambe dancers. The safari was practically a walk on !!!! We got straight through the queue on to our jeep - the animals were so active !!!! the giraffes especially were wandering the savannah, it looked like they realised it was near their lunch time. Unfortunately Nadine had a bit of a mishap getting off the safari a guest managed to stand on her foot. So we took a slow hobble over to the Festival of the Lion King -Next up lunch, Ashley and I decided on Satu’li Canteen but Lily couldn’t find anything she wanted - she decided to go find lunch somewhere else. We decided to do the 2.30pm Nemo show but not before saying goodbye to Dinosaur twice - it was a walk on both times !!!! we made it !!!! The Nemo show did not disappoint - Lily got so close to the characters as they do come out into the audience
As we were getting sorted at first aid -Lily did Expedition Everest as a single rider - she caught up with us as we made our way out of the park. We decided to go to Disney Springs for a wander and a bit of shopping - there are no buses direct to Springs from the parks so we caught the bus to Saratoga Springs resort as you can walk into Disney Springs from there - we spent a lovely couple of hours going into the shops and enjoying the atmosphere. About 9.45pm we calked it a night so back to the room for bed ready for Star Wars land at Hollywood Studios 🛸🚀 and Ashley’s birthday meal at the California Grill -We are the Horn family, there are 4 of us and we have been travelling to Orlando since 2009. We love all things Disney, the parks, the resorts, the cast members, just everything.
