I went to Mendocino for the day! I started by stopping at Montgomery Woods State Natural Reserve to check out the coastal redwoods. Walking in the redwood grove felt so magical, the little bit of the sun's ray piercing through the forest onto the ground was so beautiful. After the redwoods, I headed to town to get lunch at Goodlife Cafe & Bakery. The food was so good, I completely destroyed the meal haha! I walked around town for a bit then went to the Mendocino Headlands to walk along the coast line. I enjoyed the walk and did some bird watching for a while before heading off to my last stop, Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historical Park. I checked out the lighthouse and watched the sunset to cap off the day.
