On Thursday March 18th 2021 at 2:00 PM EDT. Bob Berno of McMaster University lead a panel of experts who use NMR for polymer characterization. The panel included presentations by Professor Harald Stover of McMaster University, Professor David Bergbreiter of Texas A&M University, Clemens Anklin of Bruker Biospin and Alan Sentman of SGS Polymer Solutions Inc, with the participation of Ken Knott of Virginia Tech and Darcy Burns of University of Toronto.
The wide-ranging topics included NMR of gels with and without HRMAS, tracking polymer reactions, end-group molecular weight analysis, 13C methods for structure at high temperature as well as an overview of methods used in industry.
