Soul Edge (PS1) Special Weapon Run - Mitsurugi - Arcade - Ultra Hard - No Losses (Iron Slasher)

Continuing with Mitsurugi's Special Weapon Run on Soul Edge this time around i will be using his extremely powerful/balanced weapon the Iron Slasher. The run will also be completed on the Ultra Hard difficulty with No Losses. Lets take a look below at Mitsurugi's Iron Slasher stats in numbers:

Power: 104.7%
Defense: 120.2%
Strength: 125.0%
Durability: 125.0%
Weight: 3 Bars/1.05 Speed
Range: 1.00
Pierce Damage: 10%
Pierce Weakness: 0%
Special Effects: None
As one can tell by the stats alone, the Iron Slasher basically has no downsides with only the Range modifier stat being neutral as everything else is a perfect upgrade. Power receives a minor increase but all the other stats gets a major upgrade with the highest one being the Durability as the Iron Slasher belongs to those batch of Weapons that are both good at breaking the opponents weapons while being hard to then to break it as well. If you are used to main Mitsurugi, the Iron Slasher will make you feel more at home compared to Kojiro's Sword while also reminding you of his Murasame as you can punish the opponent for blocking not only do to its superior Strength stat but also its 10% Pierce Damage that comes with it. Its Speed is also really good at 1.05 which is exactly the same Speed as the Murasame. This means that the Iron Slasher just like the Kojiro's Sword can be adapted to any situation and instead of fixing Mitsurugi's range on some key attacks, it now instead gives him more In-Your-Face offensive pressure that Mitsurugi gameplan revolves around. This pressure can also result in a uncanny amount of Ring-Out victories and in this video it will be showcased quite a bit and the pressure can sometimes even work against the CPU. Iron Slasher is also consistent enough that it can finish the run without losses.
