CalFire’s aircraft fleet out of HMT are dispatched to a nearby vegetation fire to the north of the airport on 12/21/21.
It was fantastic to be present for the entire sequence from completely quiet on the ramp to every aircraft started up & responding to the call. It’s always awesome to hear those loud turboprops come alive, & to see these incredible aircraft & the equally incredible crews that fly them working up close.
