Add this to make chicken tikka mossala or chilli massala
Ingredients:
425g natural yogurt
1 heaped tsp mix powder
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 heaped tsp garlic-ginger paste (50-50 ratio)
1 heaped tsp tandoori spice marinade
1 heaped tsp tikka masala spice paste
1 heaped tsp kashmiri masala spice paste
1/4 tsp red food colouring (optional, but gives the characteristic colour)
1/4 tsp yellow food colouring (optional, but gives the characteristic colour)
1.5 tbsp vegetable oil
Whisk all the ingredients together in a bowl. Makes 10 servings of tikka masala
Use about a chefspoon of the masala sauce when making the curry.
If not using the sauce, store in the fridge until the yogurt spoils, or freeze in ice cube trays or bags.
