This is the true story of a U.S. Marine Corps second lieutenant who disappeared during aerial operations in the Southwest Pacific on June 11, 1944. Listed as missing in action and later deemed non-recoverable, his name was carved into the Wall of the Missing at the Manila American Cemetery while his family maintained an empty grave in Morristown, New York.
