Mattel Toys at the 2003 American International Toy Fair (Barbie, My Scene)

Описание: This video is actually a compilation of short videos that were originally uploaded as .mov files on mastercollector.com, which is now defunct. Because of how old these files are, they're in pretty poor quality, but considering there's little-to-no available footage of the 2003 Toy Fair online, I figured I'd upload these.

Again, starting off the video, we have "new" dolls in the Silkstone Fashion Model Collection, designed by Robert Best. No notes, just gorgeous. We also have dolls inspired by pop culture, such as I Love Lucy dolls, the first set of Grease dolls, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes (which were made to promote Looney Tunes: Back In Action), and SpongeBob, which I would've loved as a kid, oh my god.

For playline, the Cheerleader Barbies with the Dance 'N Flex bodies were also shown, and I find these dolls so odd-looking. The outfits are fun, but the bodies just make me laugh. We also have some My Scene dolls showcased, mostly Night On The Town, which differed a bit compared to the final release. The female dolls would've been sold on their own, including Nolee, with some extra accessories, and the boys, including Bryant, would've just had fashion packs sold.

One of my personal favorite Barbie lines, 1 Modern Circle, was also showcased. I absolutely love the Simone doll from that line. There are also dolls from the Dolls of the World, Happy Family, and Shakira lines. Ending off the video, there's a portion that showed off another Barbie movie tie-in, this time being Barbie of Swan Lake, again, the only video that had audio.
