Mattel Toys at the 2002 American International Toy Fair (Non-Barbie)

Описание: This video is actually a compilation of short videos that were originally uploaded as .mov files on mastercollector.com, which is now defunct. Because of how old these files are, they're in pretty poor quality, but considering there's little-to-no available footage of the 2002 Toy Fair online, I figured I'd upload these. None of the videos have audio attached to them, so I replaced them with music from the old Barbie games.

Sadly, all of the videos that featured the Barbie dolls at this event were never archived, so they're all completely lost as of now. So everything that's shown is other Mattel brands. First off, we have the Mary-Kate and Ashley dolls, which were made based on different looks that they've worn in their direct-to-DVD movies and show "So Little Time". I'm pretty sure these dolls were also the first to have a new body and head sculpt to reflect the twins' maturing appearance.

Next, the Fashion Diva Starz, a fashion doll spin-off of the main Diva Starz. I absolutely love them with my heart and soul. There's also the What's Her Face dolls, which are also super iconic.

Lastly, the American Girl section. I actually didn't know American Girl dolls were shown off at the New York Toy Fair until now. I'm not too sure if Kaya was shown, even though she was introduced this year. But the Bitty Twins, which were released in 2003, were showcased, along with some products from the Angelina Ballerina line.
