Описание: I Create As A Mother is Episode two in VancouverMom.ca's Video series - As A Mother. It is the second of eight interviews featuring local Vancouver moms and their stories of triumph, advocacy, and courage over the past two years.

I Create As A Mother features Jude Kusnierz, the driving force behind the creation of The Beaumont Studios Artist Society — a multi-dimensional art studio supporting Vancouver's creative sector.

The Beaumont was born from Jude’s vision to create a shared space for artists in the business for themselves. Since its inception in 2003, the Beaumont has become a staple for local creatives in Vancouver. The cohabitated space has opened the doors for many local artists to share the overhead costs of working in such a large space to create and collaborate together.

The arts is one of the industries hit the hardest over the past two years, with many creatives leaving the industry altogether. I Create As A Mother showcases Jude's ability to keep the arts and the Beaumont alive and thriving throughout the pandemic.

Jude's story is a powerful account of a creator, artist and mother raising her daughter "on the desk of the Beaumont" and her creative ability to pivot her business in order to give Vancouver's creative scene and local artists’ businesses a home, while still paying her property taxes.
