Northeast Ohio Forecast: Staying mild today, bigger storm system tomorrow

Описание: Our thaw continues this morning as temps have held near the 40 degree mark overnight, thanks to a gusty southwest wind!

A cold front is approaching from the northwest and will pass through later this morning with a few brief showers. Behind this front, the temps aren't much different, but this front will prevent us from warming much this afternoon. Temps should stay steady in the upper 30s to low 40s for much of the day.

Tomorrow, we begin to feel the influence of a much more significant storm system that will bring warm, windy weather followed by cold, snowy weather on the back side.

Concerns that any leftover standing water from our melting snow and rain will freeze up quickly during the morning Friday--this will impact portions of northeast Ohio for that Friday morning commute. We have a Weather Impact Alert for Thursday night and Friday as a result.
