Last year I had the chance to have my dhol featured on "Morni" by Raf Saperra X Ikky.
This is a full behind the scenes look at the recording session - from constructing the intro to patterns, tuning and capturing the right tone for the track. Recorded at the infamous Planet Studios in Coventry UK, engineered by HMC.
"Morni" went on to become one of the biggest bhangra tracks of 2025, so here's an inside look at what actually goes into recording live dhol for a punjabi song.
