Master Chia tells the story of how he discovered Qi for the fist time:

«I was 14 years, studying in Hong Kong. One day me and my friends were eating together, talking about Qi. And we all said that we didn't believe in it.

So, a person named Cheng Sue-Sue, our Senior Classmate, came over and said: "If you want to really feel Qi, I can bring you to my Master".

We all agreed. Cheng Sue-Sue said: "Come tomorrow at 10 o'clock."

You know what happened? Nobody came except me.

Cheng Sue-Sue brought me to Master Yi Eng, White Cloud Hermit, who lived in a simple hut in mountains near Hong Kong. He was 90 years but he looked thirty years younger. He had a kind smile and gentle strength.

Master Yi Eng put a finger on my navel and said: "You focus on the navel until you feel energy. After you feel the energy you come back to see me".

I went home and focused on the navel. On the same night I felt the fire coming🔥, shhhhhh. So much energy moving up and down!

Master Yi Eng didn't tell me about the microcosmic orbit yet. But by touching he gave me energy and helped me to discover Qi.

That's what I'm doing now for my students in workshops ― I help people open their energy. I opened my first Healing Center in the mid 70’s and started teaching Qigong, Tai Chi and the Inner Alchemy.

Teaching these practices was a real joy: I watched so many people heal and blossom like a flower when they experienced their Qi.

Over these years I thought of One Cloud often, of his beautiful smile and his teaching me to smile into the body’s vital organs and the Tan Tiens».

Master Yi Eng left his body at the age 96. He had time to pass on to Master Mantak Chia the most sacred and closely held Taoist practices and formulas. Thanks to Master Chia, for the first time in recorded history, these pearls of wisdom are available to learn for a large public. You can learn them at the upcoming Qigong Series this November.
