Day 162 - Celebration Of Life & The End
Had only a few miles left to hike back to Harts Pass, last time breaking down camp on the PCT, last breakfast, last water source and the last mile. We had a little get together the day before, right at the closure where we drank our monument celebration drinks and called it „Celebration of life“.
Made it to Harts Pass where a lot of hikers got stranded. It was a mix of hikers that made it to Canda, the ones that didn‘t make it and the ones that just got to Harts Pass and found out about the closure. We had trail magic for the last time and I got a ride with Chris down the road. He lives close to Seattle and offered me a ride back there on the next day. So he and Cameron and I camped up on Sauk Mountain and had a propane campfire which was the perfect ending to the hike and a slow transition back into real life.
