Note or reminder: I am not an expert at this game. XD
The second deck that I have ever wanted to "Main".
So, Link Summoning is on the horizon, along with huge mechanic changes. Personally, I am pretty excited for the changes and can't wait for them to get on YGOPro/DevPro. Until then, I decided to do 5 last sessions before the massive changes arrive. These sessions will consist of decks that I have considered to "Main" up to this point.
I am aware that I have pretty much changed my mind a number of times overtime of what I want to "Main".
I'm not looking for something that wins all the time. I'm looking for something that I find most fun, that may fit me thematically, and, while it sounds stupid: A deck that I can put my "Heart" into.
Truth be told: This wasn't originally a Gagaga deck. I gained interest in the game again after seeing Zexal start to show on TV. This was also the time I found out about Dueling Network existing (may it rest in peace).
Along with personally being interested in the Zexal anime at the time, I really liked the concept of Xyz summoning, and the theme of the Number monsters. So, I decided to try and create a deck that would be able to summon any of the Number monsters...and this is probably the most worked on deck that I ever did. Least during the Zexal era. And thinking about it, man did it go through a lot of changes. I even remember trying to mix ZW - with it at one point. It wasn't until later that it just became a Gagaga deck that's dedicated to summon Number monsters, because Gagaga didn't really have a lot of cards at the start.
You know, I could really relate to the main protagonist of Zexal: Being really bad at this game. Thinking about it though, I might be inherently worse. I still make very stupid mistakes despite getting "better".
Well, with that, I don't think this deck will be a likely candidate to main after all this time. I sort of question this archtype's overall function too. It's not that it can't work: I personally think it can definitely work better than the Toon deck. However, I also just think this deck is unnecessarily restricted.
Besides that, even if I do have a lot more relation to Yuma, I don't think I can be him. Well, granted, he can do those Shining Draws, but still. XD
I will show as much content as possible of the game, but this is not a speed run nor a perfect run. Hope you will enjoy this Playthrough/Walkthrough/Let's Play/Gameplay.
