PPG Choir x Hong Kong Virtuoso Chorus “We Are The World” - 1 December, 2025

Описание: On Dec 1, the PPG Choir - HK Chapter & The Hong Kong Virtuoso Chorus (HKVC), alongside the HK Inter-School Choir, united to perform “We Are the World” for those affected by the Tai Po fire.

This song, dedicated to the grieving families, the injured, medical staff, and the firefighters who risked their lives to save others, is a symbol of global kinship, it became a personal promise: through music, we bring comfort, share strength, and nurture hope.

“The joint effort of singing for the community is a testament to empathy, resilience, and our shared humanity”, shared Mrs. Linda Song of Co-founder of PPG and the Chairperson of PPG Choir. “In difficult times, it’s vital to seize every opportunity to share love”, echoed by Mr. Kelvin Lau, Founder & Artistic Director of HKVC. Together, we sing in one voice for those who are affected.

In addition, PPG participated in the collective donation fund under Hong Kong International Airport Community, which will contribute to the HKSAR Government’s “Support Fund for Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po”.

In this difficult time, we believe it is important to stand united, offering compassion and support to help rebuild and strengthen our community bonds in the city we call home.

12月1日，環亞合唱團香港分團與香港合唱新力量（HKVC）攜手，聯同香港校際合唱團（高中組），以一曲《We Are the World》獻上誠摯慰問。

願這份心意為所有受上週大埔火災影響的家庭、民眾，優秀的醫護人員，以及勇敢的消防員帶來安慰，共同播下希望、同行及關愛的種子。

環亞集團聯合創辦人兼合唱團主席宋張玉婷女士表示：「這次合演活動充分表現出不同界別齊心協力為社區付出的決心，亦體現了同理心、韌性和共同人性的本質。」HKVC創辦人兼藝術總監劉灝顯先生亦分享道：「大火無情，人間有愛。此刻，我們更應珍惜每個分享愛的機會。」

此外，環亞集團積極響應由香港國際機場牽領，支援受大埔宏福苑火災影響的居民的捐款活動，與機場同業共襄善舉。所有善款將捐予香港特別行政區政府成立的「大埔宏福苑援助基金」。

在這個艱難的時刻，團結一致非常重要，就讓社會各界携手合作，幫助重建我們的「家」— 香港。
