I'm so happy to present you this Music Video.
It comes from the idea of Two Mums in China, Two old friends, Two music people, Two territories.
As their kids were all at home, far from their friends, and to keep this exceptional moment of their life in their memories, they have decided to record for them an global version of the famous song « We are the World », inviting their friends and family from all over the world to sing it in their own language.
There is more than 40 kids who sing in 13 languages, from Chinese to Yoruba, from Lithuanian to Arabic. Musicians from Pakistan and Israel have bring their sounds to the song. They were inspired by all those people around the world that record songs from their home to just to continue, by recording there own part to create a beautiful piece of work TOGETHER at the end. We must say it’s an « amateur-without-goal-project-madeby-professional ».

They edit it in Beijing with the benevolent help of several sound professional friends, and now it’s this unique piece for them to remember this moment in their life, and also to keep the link with the others in this time where borders are closed.

This Two Mums are:
Anais Martane, originally from France who live in Beijing for more than 20 years. She is a pluridiscipline artist: photographer, producer of theater plays, stage actress and singer, her family is over well known by the Chinese Public, with her famous husband actor Liu Ye and their kids.
Yoyo artistic manager of the Chinese father of Rock and Roll Mr. Cui Jian and singer Tan Weiwei. She is also film producer.

Xiao He, the famous Chinese Music Artist, is the artistic director of this piece.

The Music Video is publish on June 1st 2020 for International Children Day.
