In this episode, I hike through the mountains of northern Turkey toward the town of Niksar, crossing snowy passes, quiet villages, and remote countryside while camping out along the way. After finding fresh bear tracks in the snow, I have a tense moment walking at night when something large crashes through the forest just metres away.
