In this episode, I cross the 20,000km mark of my journey while walking through the mountains of Turkey. After leaving Kelkit, I follow quiet village roads, climb into bear country, camp alone in the forests, and detour to explore an old monastery built into the cliffs. This stretch of the walk finished in Şebinkarahisar, a town I’d never even heard of that ended up becoming my favourite place in Turkey so far.
