My First Conference: Volunteering at CCW | WIML

The CCW event happened and we signed up to volunteer!
Met new people, moved around to help, and we made a new friend! (Rama)

On the other end, students seemingly were a bit sad about their grades for the project, but I was in confusion because they all scored well. A lot of back and forth on that.

And ultimately we have my whole journey with this composition theory class project that I’m using as a double dipping thing for my dissertation.

Who knew trying to find your identity would be so time consuming.

Hello! My name is Manuel Gonzalez.

I'm a graduate of San Diego State University (SDSU), and I am currently a PhD Student at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

From an MFA in Creative Writing to a PhD in Rhetoric & Writing, this entire channel is essentially a memory bank where I film myself navigating the ups, downs, and in-betweens of being a student, professor, adjunct, and every other role you can think of. These videos are meant to show you a week in the life of a graduate student and give you a behind-the-scenes look into everything PhD-related.
