Grazzano Visconti is an absolutely amazing village located in Emilia-Romagna Region, near the city of Piacenza, surrounded by the beautiful and peaceful landscape of the Po valley.
Grazzano is closed to city traffic and allows to visitors to take a real leap into the past.
In fact the village was built by the Count Giuseppe Visconti near the ancient Castle in the early 1900s in perfect medieval style.
It is characterized by sculpures, fountains, balconies, crenellated towers and has become a perfect, beautiful example of medieval urban architecture.
A true gem where nothing has been left to chance.
Nowadays, Grazzano Visconti is a very well-known tourist attraction in Northern Italy for its beauty and originality.
it's a so nice experience visiting Grazzano and all its wonderful typical arts and craft shops.
And, for a stop, you can enjoy the extraordinary local cuisine in one of the little restaurants. Don't miss the "gnocco fritto"...is simply delicious...
