JAWS XXL "MARCIO SWELL" ALL TIME PADDLE SESSION!!!

Описание: Jaws went XXL during the "Marcio Swell" it was an all time paddle session with a few early tow in rides.The morning started off with excellent conditions and a special tribute to Marcio happened, Yuri Soledade and Andrea Moller teamed up and towed into the first waves of the day, they both got beautiful big waves at sunrise.

Steve Roberson got an epic XXL tow in wave, followed by the first paddle in rides of the morning. Nathan Florence paddled into the first barrel ride while standing tall in the west bowl. DK Walsh got the last beautiful tow in bomb before an all paddle session started. It was so good the form was pure perfection for waves this big. Albee Layer got the first real deep barrel but fell on the exit, Torrey Meister got a big barrel then Nathan Florence got a huge one and wiped out pretty bad hurting his back. Tyler Larronde was charging hard going steep and deep. Everyone was really going for it, pushing the limits of what's possible for big wave paddle surfing at Jaws

Around 9:30 a.m. huge clean up set came in and caught everyone inside, it swept Billy Kemper into the bay next to the keyhole. That was really scary. Albee Layer got the wave he has been waiting for, a double spitter that he rode perfectly. It started firing around mid morning, all surfers were getting barrel after barrel.

At 10:45 a.m. the biggest set of the morning came in pushing towards 18ft Hawaiian. The winds were predicted to be NE but it stayed really glassy. The waves really jumped up in size getting really big with each set. Paige Alms charged a massive barrel and Annie Rieckart had a nasty wipeout. Billy Kemper got back to back in and out barrel bombs. He was definitely one of the stand outs this swell. Cassidy Kuakini, had a two wave hold down after a huge XXL wipeout and was almost unresponsive thanks to the quick actions performed by the safety team he was rescued. Albee Layer was the biggest standout during this "Marcio Swell" just ruling the paddle session, the conditions got great at midday it was really mystical. Then the set of the day came in 25ft plus Hawaiian and Zane Schweitzer got caught on the north peak. This XXL swell will be remembered as one of the greatest days at Pe'ahi with perfect conditions.

When the NE wind picked up and it turned onshore the XXL tow in session started around 2 p.m stay tuned for that action next as well as the tow in session from the next day. Much more to come !
