The North Coast 500 is described as Scotland's answer to Route 66. It's a scenic route of just over 500 miles (800km) following the coast around the far north of mainland Scotland, starting and finishing at Inverness Castle.
The A832 runs for about 125 miles (201km) linking the east and west coasts of Scotland, in two sections, linked by part of the A835. The western section runs from the A835 south-east of Ullapool, to the west coast at Loch Ewe and Loch Gairloch before reaching the A835 again at Garve. The Eastern section splits from the A835 at Moy Bridge and runs through Muir of Ord to the A9 at Tore, then to Munlochy and Fortrose and onwards to the terminus at Cromarty on the Black Isle at the mouth of the Cromarty Firth on the East coast.
This video shows a southeast-bound journey along the A832, from the junction with the B8056 towards Port Henderson, along the bank of Loch Maree, to the A896 junction at Kinlochewe.
