Introduction to Zirconia
(based on Le Livre des Etoiles)
The best way to reach Zirconia is to start from Adonia Cosmoport. Two opposite worlds: from the erogenous sands of A to a cold crystal planet. Under a thick crust of pure rough zirconium, the deep substance of Zirconia is made of infinite sorts of gems and precious translucent stones. Space travelers named it Diamondo.
There’s no life on Zirconia’s surface. Spacecrafts have to slip through many breaks and cracks in order to land inside of wide caves where quarries are set up. The planet is constantly lit by two opposite suns. Light gets across the zirconium cover and is diffracted into the inner crystal layers.The settlers are living inside this rainbow world. As a perpetual kaleidoscope.
Powerful air streams circulate through Zirconia’s caves. Many settlers are surfing on these inner winds, using odd antigravity sailboards.
Crystal miners named themselves Cave Creepers. They have the privilege to dig in a perpetual moving illumination. Is it the reason why their work is strangely rhythmical?
Through Zirconia’s crystal mines spread a wild illusion, an insane dream of fortune. A powerful vertigo arises when near those precious stones. A dangerous fever. But the Guild is the unique owner of this wealth. Pilferers are strictly punished.
These walls of crystal have an astonishing capacity.They keep in their matter the reflections of all the cave creepers they dug in them. All these ghosts are perpetually haunting the caves.
A legend tells there is somewhere an unknown sort of crystal, much more precious than the other ones. The Supreme Gem.Many crazy guys got led astray while searching for it into Zirconia’s sparkling depths.
