Building stone walls looks straight forward until you start. If you've seen my previous houses you'll know I built many a stone wall. Like fitting a jigsaw puzzle, hunting for the right size. But the end result is worth it because it's unique. We've decided to do as much as we can in the courtyard before we start the house and clearing this area has made a huge difference. Rural Algarve in Portugal is a beautiful area and many are looking to move here so it's important that we make this house full of character and charm, mixing old with new. The wall is the first step as we gear ourselves up for the roof of the house.
