I call the 4-1-2-1-2 the safest formation in Fifa 16 because it is balanced and doesn’t require the best and most expensive players to be successful with it. It is important, though, to have a really good CDM. Since there are no other CDMs or CMs near him he is reliable of protecting the back line. If there is one player you should pay up for it is the CDM.

The 4-1-2-1-2 is my fourth favorite formation in Fifa 16. It is an incredibly good for attacking. There are two strikers, a CAM, and a LM/RM. That makes 5 attackers, forming a potent attack. If you like 2 striker formations and don’t want to risk the defense of the 3-5-2 this is the formation for you.

Again the CDM is in charge of protecting the back line and will make or break your defense in this formation. Make sure to have someone who is quick with great defensive stats and mentality. If you need more help on defense tell one or both of your LM/RM to stay back while attacking.

With the 4-1-2-1-2 formation you should have more than enough attack and scoring opportunities. You will also have a solid defense with the ability to have a great one with a great CDM like Lahm.
