Controlled Articular Rotations (CARs) - Thoracic Spine

Описание: Controlled Articular Rotations, or CARs, are a version of joint circles that involve active muscular control in your full range of motion. CARs come from Functional Range Conditioning and are a much more active way to work on mobility, compared with passive stretching.

CARs for the mid-back (thoracic spine) are a great way to carve out your full range of motion, especially when dealing with back pain or a stiff back. When patients in our clinic experience tightness and pain in the back and ribs, the muscles tend to get protective and guarded, which limits mobility even more. These thoracic spine CARs allow you to keep whatever mobility you currently have, while slowly increasing that range of motion at a comfortable pace, as pain allows. This way, you at least keep what you've got, and slowly your mobility will get better over time.
