A fast-moving disturbance will swing across the Carolinas on Monday, bringing a burst of chilly rain for most of the region and a quick shot of accumulating snow for the mountains and foothills. Even though this isn’t a major winter storm, it will make for a cold, uncomfortable day — and for some, a slippery one.
