A great day to see the Vintage Trains steam hauled Christmas White Rose tour, hauled by none other than A1 Peppercorn No. 60163 'Tornado'.
This was Tornados first steam hauled tour since the summer, so it was great to see it out again for a Christmas charter.
Tornado is first seen whistling its way into York, before being dragged out by the 47 to Holgate where it would join the avoiding line to be turned.
I found myself in Doncaster later in the day for the tours return trip.
