Picture this: After a couple of hours spent on the beach, you start craving a refreshing drink and a light lunch. You walk into the nearest beach bar, just to be banned from entering for not wearing appropriate clothing. ‘‘But this is a beach facility?’’ you ask. Indeed it is, but that doesn’t mean same rules apply. A bar, restaurant or a hotel are public premises where we need to follow certain rules. Wearing bikini or a swimsuit only will ban you from entering most of these places as they are not considered appropriate enough for dining ❌👙
Always bring a cover-up to your next beach or pool adventure, to avoid unpleasant experiences. Remember to always follow the hotel or beach rules - some restaurants might be more upscale, especially if they are indoors, and might require a more conservative cover-up than a beach scarf.
